Illustration was a very big part in how the Directors at Detail wanted to separate themselves visually. We wanted to move away from the typical profile head-shot. Everyone was tasked to take some funny, quirky, creative photos of themselves.
These photos drove the creative feel and mood for the illustrations.
The final result became a hybrid of the initial sketch for texture and digital ink render for polish.
